The following table summarizes the range of Direct Solar, Reflected Solar (Albedo), and Planetary Infrared for the planet Jupiter.

                 Perihelion Aphelion Mean

----------------------------------------------------------------

Direct Solar 56 W/sqM 46 W/sqM 51 W/sqM

Albedo 0.343 0.343 0.343
(subsolar peak)

Planetary IR. 13.7 W/sqM 13.4 W/sqM 13.6 W/sqM

The planet Jupiter has a fairly high albedo. Its thermal environment are so low that it could almost be ignored except for very sensitive instruments and detectors.
