Doublet Arrays

    500   $ Cp(helium)
    0., 5200.,   300.,5200.,  END

A doublet array contains a sequence of ordered pairs of values representing points on a curve. In this example of array 500, the independent variable is temperature starting at 0. and increasing to 300. The specific heat of helium is assume to be 5200. and flat across this temperature range. The format of a singlet array is shown below.

A#, X1,Y1, X2,Y2, X3,Y3,...Xn,Yn, END
Where,
  • A# is the array reference number, (Integer)
  • X is the independent data point, (Floating Point)
  • Y is the dependent data point, (Floating Point)
  • n Is the number of data pairs in array ( Not entered in the array )
