Modeling and Analysis Group models two-phase flow processes. We are involved
in the development, assessment and application of advanced codes for current
and advanced versions of PWR, BWR, and research reactors such as RAMONA,
RELAP5, TRAC-PWR, TRAC- BWR, RETRAN. The Experimental Heat Transfer and
Fluid Dynamics Group has experimental facilities and expertise to investigate
various phenomena of significance to severe accident and thermal-hydraulics
issues for reactor safety.
